Friends

I was just thinking about friendship and what it actually means to me and some of the people that I have called friend in the past and in the present. It's so crazy how people you where close to in middle school all the way through high school suddenly becomes invisble or nonexistent when you go away to college. what does that say about your friendship where you trully friends from the start or did ya'll just grow apart and if so at what point did that began to happen. One could get upset about these things but you have to look at your life and say how do the fit into the schema of my life will they deture me from the the path I am to walk on or will they encourage me to keep going and have my back. I think that is somthing to really consider. Also I think we should undersatnd that people are here in our life for only a season and after that it is time to let them go. I think the letting go is the hardest part because you feel so connected but I think also that after awhile the connection that you once felt fades away and it makes it much easier for you to let them go. However, God does put people in you life that will be there forever no matter what, people that you can always go to, and their feelings never change but stay the same. I think this is what will happen to me when my friend from college graduates this month, I think me and her have made a bonding friendship that will last a lifetime lord willing.I think we should seek God about the people that come in amd out our lives and who we let just stay there and become a hinderance to where we need to go. Ultimatly the truest friend we could ever have is Jesus!!!!!!!

Just Talking Off the Top of My Head

I think this is one of the craziest things I've done is start a blog but i guess it's okay. Being that it's finals time I don't know how I am finding the time to keep up with this. Anyways the things that are on my mind totally have to do with how I'm going to get through writing all theses papers and how am I going to get through my finals. I did not know what to expect when coming to college I knew it was not easy but i did not think it would be this hard and so boring. Is college suppose to be so boring and non-exciting not according to most people you talk to but if you ask me I'm so bored with it. that's why I'm so grateful for the summer months even though those could be a tad bit boring at times also. I think a good thing for me to do this summer is find out what gets me going what makes me happy( I really think I know these things already) and how to implement them into my college life so it will be less boring. I think for me being at Covenant will always be boring unless I have a car and get of this crazy mountain. I think I'm going crazy here (lol). I believe this summer is going to be the best summer yet God has so much planned for I just have to humble myself and let lead me down the right path.

What Is Your Purpose?

I was online chatting with a friend and we where just talking about ministry and where we see ourselves well actually where I see myself.It was such a tough question because I feel like I should already know. I think that some times we are pressured into knowing what are area of ministry is even knowing our purpose I mean in the long run it is very important to know theses things because you always I think have to know where your going .I say that because this world has so much to offer many distraction to deter you off the path that god has called you to ,and if your not rooted and grounded enough, if you don't know where your supposed to be you will easily be led astray or conform to this world.But as my friend said don't let anyone make you feel pressured because in the timing of the Holy Spirit he will reveal it unto you.I think that is so awesome and all it is,is just simpling asking Him what He has for you to do and I believe that He will answer in His own timing. So one might ask Candace what is you purpose I would have say I'm still figuring it out and daily I get closer and closer to the full revelation on why God created me.

This Generation and the People Taking it by Force!!

I'm troubled in my because I look at this generation and ask " is there a God if so what does he plan to do" now some may say why would a believer ask such a question. My response would be it's not a matter of belief but a matter a faith. No my faith is not failing but i sure do ask why do I have faith. The passion in me cries out for the creator to intervene. I'm looking for a Holy visitation one that all man will see and at the point of seeing turn their hearts to God. The prophecy are being full filled who will stand and take up the cross I ask myself as I look out at the fast paced life of this generation. But then i hear a sound in the distance could it be true there is a generation rising up not generation X or Y but the Joshua and Judah generation!!!!!!!!!! With war and praise they take back this generation.
